Around the world, billions of people lack access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. Our WASH solution improves health outcomes and saves lives.
What’s The Issue?
Water Sanitation Hygiene
Around the world, billions of people lack access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. This has profound health and socio-economic effects in low- and middle-income countries, leading to disease, lack of education, and poverty. Children and women disproportionately suffer from this issue.
According to WHO, diarrheal disease is the second leading cause of death in children under five years old, and a significant proportion of these deaths can be prevented through safe water, sanitation, and hygiene.
Fetching water, In many countries, often lands on the shoulders of women and girls. This chore can limit their educational and economic opportunities.
Safe Water for Healthcare Facilities — HCFs — and Safe Water Filtration Technology changes the equation.
One of the most effective ways to improve the overall health of a community is to provide clean water to local health facilities.
Our WASH Solution improves health outcomes and saves lives at healthcare facilities by:
Collaborating with in-country stakeholders to assess WASH services, identify intervention hospitals, and prioritize key action.
Improving WASH infrastructure at healthcare facilities by installing sustainable Safe Water Filtration Technology and, offering equal access to clean water for drinking and hand washing.
Developing the local healthcare workforce through comprehensive WASH training and infrastructure maintenance.
Conducting Monitoring & Evaluation to measure progress, share knowledge, and improve program strategies to achieve development goals.
Ensure sustainability through locally led action plans.
Employ a gender lens to all program investment and implementation.
Our self-contained Safe Water Filtration System is an excellent WASH infrastructure solution for healthcare facilities in rural and last-mile settings. Multiple systems can be connected together to increase capacity and meet the water needs of each facility.
Why It Works
Since 2006, we have collaborated with partners worldwide to provide Safe Water Filtration Systems. Most of the facilities are birthing centers or community clinics.

Total Catchment Population of People Impacted:
We have also installed stand-alone Safe Water Filtration Systems in Senegal, Kenya, and Haiti. Sometimes, we work with our partners to design a custom water project for a specific village. For example, we drilled a well in Jinja, Uganda, that provides clean water to an orphanage.
We built a clean water kiosk at a remote village in Rwanda. We are exploring many other clean water technologies, including small filtration systems that purify water for people in urban areas.
